Install-Google Chrome in Linux

HOWTO-Install Google Chrome in Ubuntu/Kbuntu:

Google Chrome is an open source browser that makes for user easier,faster and build a safer access to a web internet.

Now you need to edit repository file /etc/apt/sources.list

Step1: Repository Setup:

#nano /etc/apt/sources.list   

Add two Following line

 deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/chromium-daily/ppa/ubuntu jaunty main
deb-src http://ppa.launchpad.net/chromium-daily/ppa/ubuntu jaunty main 

Save and exit this file

Step2: Update Source List:

#sudo apt-get update 

Step3: install Goggle Chrome:

install google chrome using following command:

#sudo apt-get install chromium-browser   

So its a end of installation

Verify Installation go to Application -> Internet -> google chrome
