Install- Virtual Box in Linux

HOWTO Install virtual Box on Ubuntu/Kbuntu:

With virtaul box you can create and run guest opreating systems (" virtual machines") such as Linux and windows under a host operating system.

Step1: Setup Repository
#nano /etc/apt/sources.list 
 


Ensure that the following line are added according to your distribution to your configuration file /etc/apt/sources.list

deb http://download.virtualbox.org/virtualbox/debian lucid non-free 

 deb http://download.virtualbox.org/virtualbox/debian karmic non-free

 deb http://download.virtualbox.org/virtualbox/debian jaunty non-free

deb http://download.virtualbox.org/virtualbox/debian intrepid non-free

deb http://download.virtualbox.org/virtualbox/debian hardy non-free

deb http://download.virtualbox.org/virtualbox/debian gutsy non-free

deb http://download.virtualbox.org/virtualbox/debian dapper non-free

deb http://download.virtualbox.org/virtualbox/debian lenny non-free

deb http://download.virtualbox.org/virtualbox/debian etch non-free

deb http://download.virtualbox.org/virtualbox/debian sarge non-free

deb http://download.virtualbox.org/virtualbox/debian xandros4.0-xn non-free 
 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 


 

         
Step3: Install virtual box

 #sudo apt-get update 


 #sudo apt-get install virtualbox-3.2                



Verify Installation:

Right Click on Application > virtualBox

  

After wards you find a virtual box is Starting:
